Merging Concrete, Community, and Innovation for a Better Tomorrow
When I started Apex Concrete Innovations, I knew I was stepping into something bigger than just a company focused on an innovative concrete finishing tool. My background in real estate and land projects has given me a deep appreciation for how land, materials, and environmental solutions intersect. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on meaningful projects that improve processes and contribute to the well-being of our communities.

More Than Just Concrete
At Apex Concrete Innovations, we are developing the EZ Trowel, our patented power finishing tool designed to make concrete work easier, faster, and less physically demanding. While the trowel is still in the prerevenue stage, we are taking the necessary time to refine and enhance its design, ensuring it becomes an even more impactful and innovative product.

Beyond our passion for construction innovation, we are also deeply committed to environmental solutions. Our collaboration with Zeolite Composites, LLC has opened doors to incredible opportunities in low carbon concrete and concrete products, soil remediation and stormwater management, allowing us to make a real difference in the communities we serve.
Collaboration with Zeolite Composites includes:
Oil spill cleanup solutions and pet litter Turf infill Zeo-Lock low carbon water permeable pavers Storm water solutions that help save the coho salmon from harmful toxins like 6PPD-quinone (6PPDq)
One of my goals is to package our patented power trowel with bagged low carbon concrete from Zeolite Composites at retail stores to make working with concrete safer across the
board. If you are interested in connecting on any of these initiatives, I would love to collaborate.
A Business with a Greater Purpose
Apex Concrete Innovations is more than just a business—it is an opportunity to lead in a space where authentic and humanitarian leadership is needed. I have pledged 10% of my personal profits from the sale of the EZ Trowel to support the nonprofit Ladybug House, which provides respite and support for families facing pediatric illness. This commitment reflects my belief that businesses should be a force for good, creating a lasting impact beyond financial success.

Environmental Impact and Major Projects
One of Zeolite Composites’ most rewarding projects is their partnership with the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Through the use of clinopilolite zeolite, a cost effective and scalable solution has been developed and tested to remediate lead contamination in the yards of homes in East LA. The soil in the yards of of over 13,000 homes are contaminated with lead. Witnessing this transformation firsthand —and even getting to attend an art exhibit in LA dedicated to this work on my birthday weekend—was a powerful reminder of why I’m on this journey.

We are currently engaged in several projects across the world - however, in our backyard I enjoy regularly visiting the ones in Skagit, Snohomish, King, Pierce, and Thurston Counties, where we apply these same environmental solutions to land and water. Each project begins with a unique property, a challenge, and an opportunity to create a lasting impact.
Healing Scarred Villages & Real Estate Development

In addition to my work with Apex Concrete Innovations, I am also part of a social science project focused on healing scarred villages. As a village builder, I am leading efforts to build a village in my hometown of Mukilteo, creating spaces that foster connection, sustainability, and growth. Our team is also working on several real estate development projects, leveraging the relationships we’ve built across industries to create meaningful, impactful developments. This work is deeply personal, and I feel incredibly blessed to be part of initiatives that bring renewal and restoration to communities in need.

One of my first blog posts will be about an exciting real estate development project my team and I are working on. We recently helped one of our favorite clients acquire a piece of land, and now we have the opportunity to work with them on developing and selling it. This project involves collaboration with the City of Mukilteo, US Zeo, LLC, Zeolite Composites, LLC , and Home Free Life.

We recently met with a Village friend who owns 2.7 acres near one of our other project sites—an iconic piece of Mukilteo history. I am honored to be helping this group develop their four lots, bringing thoughtful, community-focused growth to the area. The revenue generated from these real estate projects is directly funding the development of the EZ Trowel, ensuring that our innovative construction tool can come to market and create even greater impact.
We are also working on an exciting 50-acre Lake Cavanaugh development in Skagit County and a really interesting 4-plex project in Pierce County. I am looking forward to blogging about our education on these projects as well.

Additionally, we are collaborating on some really neat 3D concrete printing projects with our Seattle Concrete Union and the University of Washington. I am also excited to write about our amazing world's first low carbon water-permeable paver system in future blog posts.
If you are interested in investing in any of our projects or the EZ Trowel, I would love to connect and go over our pitch decks with you.
Real Estate Education & Wealth Building
The first decade of my career was focused on real estate lending and finance. At one point, I even owned a mortgage company, which gave me firsthand insight into the power of financial literacy. Growing up without being educated on credit, homeownership, or strategic wealth-building has inspired me to become a leader in real estate education.

Realtor Josh Altman from Million Dollar Listing on Bravo
As a real estate agent with Best Choice Realty Homes, I have had the opportunity to work with extremely successful and impressive clients who trust me with one of the biggest investments in their portfolios. I am careful and connected, always looking to keep doors open and negotiations healthy, aiming for win-win-win results. Throughout my career, I have partnered with, been coached by, coached, been mentored by and mentored many industry professionals.
I am committed to teaching people how to maximize the wealth-building opportunities in real estate. I focus on educating individuals of all ages—including starting from childhood—on financial literacy, credit management, and strategic real estate investments. Real estate ownership is a powerful tool for creating abundance, and I am passionate about sharing these strategies with others.
How These Projects Come Together
One of the most incredible aspects of my work is how these projects seem to appear at just the right moment. But I know they don’t just “pop up” by chance—I believe God has planned this journey for me long ago. With every new project, I see a deeper connection between innovation, environmental stewardship, and purpose. It’s an adventure filled with unexpected twists, meaningful collaborations, and a whole lot of faith.
This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. If you’re interested in learning more about what we do, investing in our projects, or have a project in mind that could benefit from our solutions, I’d love to connect. Let’s build something meaningful together.
